A "racing" tranny?
I'd say if you want a 12 second EG, and you have 5300 to spend, and it's not beat...and you want it...then buy it!?

not a racing tranny, LoL, just have a stage 2 Exedy racing clutch, and a 7lb lightweight fidanza flywheel, and I really want the eg but I really dislike the fact that it doesnt have ac and I live down south texas so ac is like totally mandatory, so I have to get rid of my ex in order to get that one...will it be worth it...?

Re: (civic_saints1)
I lived in Denton, TX, worked in Plano, Mesquitte, downtown Dallas and drove an Accord with no a/c....it DOES suck. Having lived most of my life in New Orleans though, I never had A/C. So while, I know it can be done, I also know it sucked big time.
My suggestion is maybe grab the EG and then grab a daily beater with a/c. There's also the possibility that if the EG USED to have AC that most of the stuff is still there and you can reinstall it, but that will also constitute making changes to the turbo setup. Even if most of the stuff isn't there you can install a/c...it just IS NOT fun.
In the end, it really comes down to what you want and what suites your needs. If you feel like you have to have a/c then the car isn't for you. You can always mount a dash fan like those old school bus drivers have...lol.

LMAO!! The dash fan it is!! ha! Yea, I think Ive made my decision, if my car doesnt sell for the 7500 I am selling it for then I am keeping my ex, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, as clean as a coupe civic can get(I happen to get that alot), ICE COLD A/C! I have over 10 grand invested into it and with gas prices nowadays I cant go wrong if I stick to it, I am averaging 25-32 MPG on that baby, so yea, If anything I am just gonna wait for the summer to get a CBR RR and stick to my ex
