Default 12:5:1 compression safe on low boost

I have a b20 vtec with 12:5:1 cp pistons eagle rods ls crank rev valve train and pro 2 cams on e85 ..... I was wondering if i could get away with running a 60-1 on wastegate 8psi or so and it be safe and reliable an input is welcomed

The pro 2 cams are overkill for only 8psi. That compression is pretty high so you won't need as much boost. What are you going to tune it on? Fuel pump? injectors? any FPR? Psi isn't the thing to worry about, it's horse power. What is your PTW clearance? Talk about your build more

Agreed, the cams will cost you power. I am def interested to see how much power you make with that compression. If you were runing gasoline Id say it was not safe but I think you'll be fine on E85.

I have bosch 680's and a 255 walboro on crome ....I have pro 2's cause the car is all motor right now making 235 and runs 11.72 @ 115mph(with no 2 step).....and the fpr doesnt mean anything(even though i have a adjustable one already) unless your making well over 400 .....but im just worried that if i turbo the car with that high of compression i dont wanna drop the sleeves or if i will or if its ok? lol

What turbo are you planning to use to make this work? Even at sub 10psi boost pressures, if the turbo isn't efficient with that range of boost given your higher compression, it really won't help things. You'll just be spinning a big turbo, and can't use it.

stick with the .50

the 60 isnt a good choice for the range. IMHO

Make sure you have a great tuner as well! Hope the sleeves hold up.

Yes, only E85, low boost and very low timing will save the sleeves.
