11's Finally!!!!!!
Well, not in my car.....
It was actually my buddy Victor's car! We started this project about 1.5 months ago. It is a 1992 Honda Civic Si Hatch. It had a stock 1994 GS-R motor w/ NOS Plate system and was running consistant 13.0-13.1 passes! We then decided to go turbo for an IDRC event here in AZ a few weeks ago. We had some tranny problems during tme trials that prevented us from running. We put a new tranny in that night and got the car running for the next morning for last minute qualifying. We ended up running a 12.1 on our first run and 12.0 on our second run @ .8 Bar. It wasn't enough or us to qualify so we eneded up running brackets.
We dynoed the car at .7 bar on 110 octane, 16 degrees timing, 310cc injectors, 8:1 FMU and ended up with 275 hp & 190 torque. Our a/f ratio with the sniffer was at 12.0:1 at these boost levels so we decided to keep the car the way it was.
Up until this Saturday a 12.0 @ 115 was the best 1/4 mile pass we had. There was an event hosted by a local speedshop @ Speedworld Motorplex that we ended up running in.
We decided to swap out the 310cc injectors for a set of 370cc injectors. 1st run of the night Victor pulled an 11.5 @ 119 @ .9 bar. We were very surprised that just 2 weeks before we ran .5 seconds slower. 2nd run of the night Victor pulled an 11.4 @ 119 @ .9 bar. 3rd run of the night 11.32 @ 123 @ 1 bar of boost. We were very surprised that the car ran these numbers. We were shooting for high-mid 11's and ended up close to a 10 second pass.
Here is a list of what has been done to the car:
Car Weight: 1900 lbs w/o driver
2050 lbs w/ driver

That is ******* sick! Liek I said (in the SW Forum)...whats nice about this setup is that its not anything "exotic"...its a "basic" setup that anyone (almost) can build and haul ***!
Hmm...booooost is niiiice.

Actually, I totally forgot about SEMA this week! We won't do it this week. We are going to get the Intercooler piping powdercoated, the rest of the car painted, and the manifold & downpipe HPC coated. We will probably take it to Street Flight next thursday and run the car at Firebird next Friday!
We are going to dyno @ Street Flight with the Bottle! We will probably run @ Firebird rather than Speedworld!

Hey Louis -- Great times, im glad to hear that our manifold is working out for you. Will you guys be gong up to sema this week? I also have an idea for your car for a bit more accurate fuel delivery that might work out well

Is this the same car that geoff said ran a 12.0 in a hb? You made it at ~10 psi w/ a 3" dp? Very quick.. Just curious though, is it still a street car? I'm assuming it's not any longer since it only weighs 1900lbs. Sounds like you're real close to 10's. Congrats.
