11:1 compression turbo
hey i have a newly rebuilt motor with about 15-18k on it....
when i had it professionally rebuilt, i had them put in CP forged 11:1 compression pistons. i still have stock rods....
i'm now wanting to go turbo, and i;m just curious as to if it is worth it.. and if yall think i will be able to....
the guy here in atlanta at mainstream performance that tuned my car bofore said that it would be perfectly fine... and he knows what hes doing....
i just wanted to hear some other peoples opinions... and any good help and guidance as to what manifold, turbo, wastegate ect....
preciate any tips.....

if he says you can do it ...do it. it all is in the tune at that point. there are many threads on this. search and you will find some more info on it.
yeh ive read alot of different threads... but most don;t have forged pistons.. there using itr pisons... or either there using 11:5 compression....
i just wanted to know if it was safe with my combination..
can anyone give me a guestimate as to what kinda hp numbers are possible?
i was thinking of keeping the boost to around 5-7 lbs... to be safe... good idea?
