Default *My blown motor*

Hey.... finnaly went to the shop and took a pic of my blown motor...well (blown cylinder #1)....



My turbo set up did this...... melted part of my piston...



My dad got mad so he made me take home my turbo set up.... soo no more turbo.. .... New stock b18b for now pluz a new oem Clutch... at least it runz WOoHooo... gettin back 2marow..

i feel ur pain..but mine was to #4 cyl.....i had a 180k on the motor when i boosted it it lasted a week on 10psi....i can't wait to get it back

look at my signature......not tuned thou ..i wanted to blow it...now it's get BUILT

before i put the kit on i baselined the car...128.6whp at 109ft.lbs...and compression was good on all cylinders ...above 200psi on all...didn't do a leakdown..just boosted it and drove the hell out of it...made a couple of videos ..i'll post em some time

crome is good engine management. but engine management isnt any good if its just a base map with no tuning done. you can go buy AEM and not hook up a wideband and put a basemap and do the exact same thing.

Looks like my friends motor, it lasted a week on 7 psi untuned with 150,000 on it. I told him to wait to get some engine management and he said hell do it when he gets the money. Well now he does how a chance to tune it and has to part out the turbo for a new motor. Moral of the story hear like always is TUNE OR DIE.

yea..... i had my fun for about 3 months.. then it went KaaBOOM! at around 140K on the old motor..... im keepin the turbo kit...probably gana go back to spoolinPerformance in a couple of months hehehehe.....

aint my problem. i told him to get it tuned asap but he didnt have the money. i also suggested he not boost until tuning has been done.

got my car back today!!!...... runs great with a new rebuilt engine.... but the 440cc'z are still in there haha... still runs fine though...

...No boost though... no fun... oh well
