here it is:
instead of using the 4 or 5 bolts in for your downpipe flange, and then having them all break in the turbine housing when you remove the downpipe, causing you to remove the turbo and use a bolt extractor...blah blah blah.. with this setup, once you bolt the flange to the turbine housing, all you need to do ot remove it is loosen the one bolt on the stainless vband to remove the downpipe.
a bunch of you showed interest in a groupbuy, so lets do this..

do you have any ideas of your own? first you try and copy our collertor/manifold, now you are copying our vband idea. what is it they say? "Imitation is the highest form of flatery" or something like that. what ever man. its not pat. so do what you want

You're kidding right? Are you saying you invented it? V-band adapters have been around for as long as I can remember. Maybe not all Honda guys have been using it on their downpipes forever but I've had a v-band adapter on my Honda dumptube 3 years ago. I've seen a lot of downpipes with V's.

i said it isnt pat.--- pat. meaning patented. and of course i didnt invent it. its just funny that geoff posted pics almost one month ago to the day that these were posted. homeboy came over to geoffs house along time ago and saw the manifolds we were making. he copyed them, poorly at that. i tryed seaching for some of his pics but they seem to have disappeared. now he sees the v-band to 4/5 bolt idea and has his buddy weld a v-band to a flange. this is not a hard thing to do. but to do the exact same thing as us time and time again is just too funny. i laughed so hard when i saw this thread! thanks for the laugh guys and happy thanksgiving, im gonna go eat!

well at the same time, i think alot of people laugh at "YOUR" collectors being "your idea" after everyone has seen the burnsstainless collectors at www.burnsstainless.com might as well give burns some free advertising too, since you guys get it all the time on here... sure yours are good quality, but its not "your" idea..
and also if you read back to where geoff posted those pics, as soon as i saw it i posted the fact that we had it done about 4 months ago, but our camera has been broken. no biggie, more than one person can offer the same product, cant they?
kinda childish to think that not more than one person could EVER have the same idea.
also funny to see SOMEONE that gets tons of free advertising on this board try to "flame" us that have paid for advertising and support this board monitarily...
thats all i have to say, thanks.

Personally, i like both "companies". Both Cable and Geoff are cool guys.
But, just to bring up one point. These are not the same technically.
Geoff offers the vband adapters in 3" only , where as Cheapturbo only carries the 2.5".
So anybody looking for a 3" vband is gonna go to Fullrace. If you want 2.5" you gotta go to Cheapturbo.
So it's not like either of you are losing/gaining any business from either or.
Just my observation on the matter...

Ok, here's my question.... Does this thing SEAL UP completely, or is this a race app only? I hate hearing the popping noise of a small exhaust leak under the hood!!

Leeks would depend on who installs it for you. There are no guaranntees where leeks are concerned. But if you have a good exhaust guy you shouldn't have a problem. Also guys show some love man. If guys like CHEAPTURBO don't come on here and spread the wealth, guys like us would be paying threw the *** for these products. I think its a great product at a great price. free bump too
