The flanges on mine looked fine, I don't know why people started to whine about thin flanges. H-T bandwagoning is rather fierce these days.

Wow. 4 months. Thats a 1/4 of a year. How long does it take to make a manifold like that...10-15hrs?
I'm done, but I'd love to see the day when people wake up and recognize they are getting screwed.

In the world of buisness, there is this thing called over capacity. waiting four months for a manifold is redicoulous. not only for cc-fab, but for one-fab, and other buisness's as well. you would seriously wait 4 months to get a package, and not be pissed that it took so long? Thats retarded!
Any buisness that knows what the hell it's doing, would NEVER take more orders than it can reasonably handle.

This is a pretty typical Honda-Tech phenomenon. Somebody thinks he has a bright idea and proceeds to solicit business, apparently not really mindful of the fact that there's close to a quarter million memebers, probably about half of whom would have money to spend on a major project.
The erstwhile retailer or manufacturer proceeds to correspond via email, IM and PM, and doesn't really keep track of how many people he's talked with because he thinks that many of them are flakes or just will never send the money.
Next thing you know, the new retailer or manufacturer wakes up and finds a few score thousands of dollars in his PayPal account and he's absolutely horrified.
He doesn't want to turn the money down, but he's obviously also looking at a hopeless situation.
I don't know if you guys remember when people like SMSP were first starting out on Honda-Tech. The owner was able to keep control and keep track, but it must not have been easy. Even now, he's happy to help you but you're more than likely going to get an email that sounds like, "Look, I'll be happy to help you but I'll tell you right now you're looking at a three months wait. There's lots of people ahead of you."
This huge Honda-Tech phenomenon is why fairly big companies like AEM, Greddy, Spoon, Mugen and Skunk2 are always crawling the place, just watching and reading what's going on, trying to spot the trends, needs and wants of the enthusiasts.

I understand your position but I think most of us here understand that CCFAB messed up, he is apparently working on getting his **** back together. People coming on and using the thread to criticize CCFAB and basically telling us, the ones who ordered, that we are RETARDS, and stupid does not help. We obviously did not anticipate the delay would be so great, but it is better then waiting a year or not getting anything at all. Yes he needs to get his customer service in order, and a shipping system in place, but coming on here and basically talking **** about ordering form him is RETARDED, we are adults and clearly understand the situation we are currently in and are only seeking a resolution to our current dilemma.
If you guys want to talk **** star another thread and use that, people have orders, and do not want this thread locked because of bickering.

Um, 4 months is 1/3 of a year.
I'm not defending this guy but get off his back already. You're making yourself look childish.

lol I saw that too, but I'm a little scared/worried that nobody else picked up on it.
4/12 ≠ 1/4
4/12 = 1/3
Maybe take a math class instead of all the business classes?

your getting a refund he has already told you that. he is waitng on paypal to to free up the money. this brings up another point, payapl froze his account damn near 2months ago with alot of money in it for supplies and shipping. yeah once in awhile he gets a money order but that does not account for the thousands that payapl are holding. so for the past month and a half we sunk about $2,000 into just supplies and have seen no profit or even money back. me and coreyr are throwing alot of money and time into this whole thing to get everything back on track with hopes of people still being with us when everything pulls through.

Ive said my peace many times in here, and i realize that many people just want to see resolution to the problems they are experiencing. That being said i wish you guys well in the future but i just dont see it happening. If it was just lack of product i could see you guys getitng your feet back under you and moving on and possibly having a successful business. howver when i see the lies, the type of customer service (Josh himself telling his own customers to expletive off etc) i cant say i see a positive future coming out of this. When i read this i honestly feel like you guys are 15 yrs old at points. all the best but perhaps you guys should shut down, take a good hard look at your business plan (if you even have one), create a mission statement (And work to uphold the mission statement) and eventually re-open under a new name, with a new work ethic and a new plan. i think the CCfab name is completely tainted. if you want to be successful thats what i would do. You guys need to have some integrity, when you lie to your customers it pretty much shows you have none. I love the idea of a quality manifold at a cheaper price. its good for you guys, its good for us and could perhaps pull down some of the outrageous pricing that we're seeing from some of the other manifold builders, but you guys have alot to work on, and as of this writing i cant think of a single person that will be "with you".

thats understandable, and i know where your coming from. but wiht that said think of josh like this, working for 2 months buy supplies and paying shipping out of your own pocket but not getting anything in return. how many manifold could he even ship per week with no income, nevermind buying supplies. add to that that what he does care about and all the time and money he put into his work he comes on the internet and has everyone yelling and talking **** plus the personal **** he has gone through during this. dont you think he was backed into the corner? but whats done is done and we will recover form this. we will not be selling anymore manifolds untill we have atleast 20 made and in stock to cut the wait time done to next to nothing. not to meantion we are going to have 2 more welders going and a couple of more people working with us.
Seems like a good plan, but I can personally say that being truthful with your customers goes a long way. Telling your customers this information, every customer regardless of how complete their product is, would have taken you a long ways. People would be with you if you let them know the situation.
I can personally say that initially I was pretty comfortable ordering from JOsh, He was resourceful and very helpfull over the phone and through IM and email. He replied to all questions and was very friendly. At some point the interaction was strained mainly because I did not feel I was getting accurate information on the completion of the priduct or enough content out of the conversation. Maybe it was due to the stress or all the stuff he was going through, but this is where you earn peoples business and where people would support your company depending on how you inform them of your troubles. Making excuses and anger towards your customers is never appropriate or excusable. Maybe it was circumstance but hopefully you guys can use this as a learning experience and understand the impact customer service and a good fabricating strategy has on your business.
I can not wait to see my stuff, and hope it is of great quality so that I can atleast say that it was worth the wait and can defend at the very least the quality of the product. Good luck

you guys act like this was supposed to happen.
i never intended for this to happen, and i was handling myself just fine for months at the same pace. **** happened. ive been working like a ,maniac to fix it
were almost there and we will recover.
unlike one-fab, i post results everyday. maybe you bandwagon haters should go stir his pot a bit. i understand it must be fun to swing from my nuts though
