I am going to have my project car done here soon and will need to get my hondata tuned and Mase is possibly willing to come up from Florida to tune if we have enough people who want their cars done...(I have hondata but he can do aem as well)

Right now I am trying to gauge interest on who else would be interested in this area to have him come up and tune their car as well...I think sometime early-mid april would work...

Mase will bring all the hardware/software needed to tune both hondata and AEM EMS. We would need to get him a plane ticket, place to stay, entertainment food and stuff like that.

We would have to have an entry fee that would help cover the expenses but the more people we get the less that would be. He can street tune and dyno tune. $300 per FULL street tune! if only dyno tuning it will be less...

Please everyone email (or aim) me so that I can know who is definatly in or atleast probably in so that I can have an idea of what's going on...also let me know when you email me when you will be ready...when the time gets closer that will help with headcount and also help me pinpoint an exact date...

EDIT: have you guys heard of SGT steve sakai. he's a good local tuner too. check him out. he is very good and experienced. thats my .02's

Hybridvteceg: I want mase to do my car because I have seen and heard from his work in the past here in the FI section of H-T...did you not see vics car??? Also why do you think that I am trying to get others to go in together as a group? to LOWER cost for myself and everyone else that wants to have a bad *** tune!

Steve Sakai is a great guy and probably a good tuner but I never hear him do much with turbo'd cars...on the other hand I see mase on H-T doing turbo cars with sick numbers like vic's LS/vtec! Come on...what am I supposed to do? I'm not trying to spend a **** load of money and skimp on tuning! I'd rather have the best...

Now that is the end of that!

shad at abacus racing (va beach) tuned my car and many others that i know he's a very good tunner with his own dyno

If you don't know who am talking about he's the guy with the white and orange civic hb that run's 10.4's

If you wanted to look in to him am taking two cars that i built up there to tune hondata Friday

and am taking my car back up there some time in mar to re-tune for 28psi

I actually think the inital post was to let people know that there is plenty of Local tuners that are perfectly capable and that they could save money...but it wouldn't make them "cool" on H-T.

Mpir3: it has nothing to do with being "cool" on honda-tech as you say...I will explain to you this only one time...

I have spent what is to me a lot of money trying to make my car the way I want it...now with that being said an important part of making my car powerful AND reliable is having a good tune...

The reason I thought about trying to get Mase to come to VA was because I have seen some of his work and he has tuned some amazing cars, now if there is someone else that can tune well in va then that's cool too but guess what? That is the reason I want to have a few people chip in and we can all save money and get our cars tuned, probably going to end up being LESS money at the same time!

So what is the problem with that? I don't see how this thread got out of hand? Whatever...

its not out of hand i dont think. just let people make their opinion statements, thats all honda-tech is when it comes down to it. you getting mad makes people not want to read. also by pople posting it keeps your thread at the top. everyone knows what you want from this thread. let what happens happen. and im sure enough poeple will throw down for him to come up.
