just out of curiousity... is there any manufacturer out there that makes a performance exhaust manifold gaskets? im wondering if anyone makes gaskets that withstand high temperatures. i think i may have blown my exhaust manifold gasket and i want to get one that wont blow as fast. i have a stripped left stud that might be causing this problem.

 

everyone i know uses a stock exhaust manifold gasket with no problems. you have to fix that stud so you can get even torque all around the gasket. doing so will solve your gasket problem.

 

agreed, the stock one is metal, and I've found it works really well.

 

yeah i heard the stock one was the best to use. just checkin to see if there were any other options available.

 

My Mr. Gasket exhaust manifold gasket works wonderfully at 20lbs of boost.

 

mr gasket copper gaskets work well also.
