Errr... brain fart - I'm not boosted, so I'd say change yours at least as often as you're changing them, if not sooner.
They're cheap as hell, and it definitely lets you keep on top of how your motor is running. No point in stretching something out that's so freakin' cheap and vital to your motor's function.

Just change them when you feel they have lost power. Otherwise you should be cool. I've done alot of R&D on spark plugs and found them to work best after a month of running them so brand new is not nessarily better.

Ok heres a quick question, i know everyone one uses, the mgk bk7res11 or some thing like that, but i need some plugs supa fast for the dyno tomorrow, and i dont have time to get some ordered. is there anything else i can get? that is colder than stock for a 8to1 compression b16 running 14-20psi of boost? via hondata of course. thanks guys

there has already been a dyno with new plugs and you do indeed loose some power. I wonder why that is?

There has to be a little crud that promotes flame kernal growth. New plugs don't have the crud.

also how can you tell your spark plugs are about to go. i heard they misfire.
so if there about to go will you feel a lag in boost?
