hey guys. just an update. got a decent dyno tune and car is running good.

my final numbers were 153hp, 119tq on a mustang dyno. motor is a LS w/ upgrade kit.

interesting thing - i was getting good gains especially in the higher range, tuner says the boost wants to go even higher than 11psi so that boost upgrade kit from JR is capable of more. its a shame that heat is an issue and LS are only capable of about max ~7000rpm.

so some more issues to work out are:
1) new intake - cold air or air box (pulling the SRI out of the bay and pointing upwards into fresh air made a huge diff during dyno.)

2) better exhaust, it still sounds all raspy and ricey

3) something to vent the heat - hood tilt or vented hood

4) some sort of meth injection or lht (dont have the funds yet)

Ok guys think I am selling everything, lol. Even the car you think this is a ok price..

I have for sale a super complete Jackson racing supercharger kit for a gsr. The only thing you should need to put this in is some hondabond to seal it up. Comes with everything seen in picture and s pipe for got it was sitting on different shelf. I can also include 510cc injectors(flow tested, clips included) for an additional 100 bucks with the kit.

Looking to get 1100 shipped which is a good deal

WOW, looking very slick! Those 2 clear tubes are routing to the heat exchanger? Also what is this reservoir that's needed, but not included in the kit? What did you use? What header are you running?

Thanks for posting the pictures

Here are two shots of the heat exchanger. I have it mounted in front of the a/c condensor on the drivers side. I used an old metal yard stick cut two pieces off it sanded and painted it ,drilled holes and mounted the heat exchanger. It worked perfectly and as you can see I was careful with the hoses and cut other small pieces and wrapped over them to prevent the hoses from getting chaffed .The pump is mounted to a 90 degree piece of angle with two holes drilled for the hose clamps to hold it to it and the 90 degree metal piece is screwed to the chassis with four stainless screws this also worked excellent. I had to trim a little from the inside of my bumper but it works well .

Well the hoses are for the heat exchanger and a reservoir is not required the lht system currently holds almost a gallon of liquid but I have considered installing one. If you look at my passenger side strut tower you can see the brass fitting I have for filling the lht. It works out pretty well I may modify that down the road also for easy drainage so I can put antifreeze in it in the winter. For now (summertime)I used distilled water and water wetter my top intake temps on the dyno were 105 . The header if from LHT also .

I have a question for everyone about the map sensor. I know that for the map to see boost, you have to nipple it to the manifold. Im planning on getting a 3bar, so is there any reason to purchase the hondata map bypass?

Lets see that dyno print out I'm at 260 in a 97 hatch and its nuckin futs a total blast to drive wheel spin was an issue until I learned to launch it .You kinda have to modulate the pedal a bit in first and second if you mash it it'll wheel hop the quaife lsd has helped but I still had to learn to drive it

I think it's supposed to be "blow-by" as in oil getting past the rings.

The tube is the line from your Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system; it's supposed to recirculate oily crankcase gases through your intake, which looks like exactly what it's doing.

That is one of the main reasons people run a catch can setup, or some other setup that will keep that oil out of the intake / blower.
