on that run it was a 8.83 @ 82 mph. I've ran many runs at 8.81 but accidently hitting the rev limiter in 3rd. I could've improved on this time a little though.

That's not bad for a N/A car, and the 1.99 60' time is good if you're on street tires.

i wish i did that on street tires. I was on bfg dr's 225 50 15s with very blown rear struts and ripped trailing arm bushings. I have good struts and bushings now, and last weekend i hit a 1.88 on them. And afterwards found out i broke my top left motor mount for the 2nd time. Ran like 11.38 that run, but it was 90 degrees out to. Also hit rev limiter in 3rd that run.

wow that sucks. i would deffinently call about that. they are a rip i think either way they make you wait like 3 weeks and they don't fit. i was pretty stoked when i ordered mine and it only took 2 1/2 weeks for them to say they were shipping mine but it fit crappy too. did you put your cat up and see if you were going to have to shorten it? atleast you got yours in black mine was in high luster ceramic so it was a waste since i header wrapped it. also make sure you flange that the donut gasket sits on isn't too long, i had to cut about a inch off of mine

Sub-2.0s still soounds good on BFG DR's, your car must be pretty light. Slicks or some Hoosier DR's would be significantly better.

I know belts slipping are a major issue, but when racing can any of you drop from 5th to 4th without any problems, I don't lose belts all the time but this is usually what im doing when it happens.

Also how often do you guys need to re-tighten your belts.

And is anyone else using a lightened flywheel because I think that might be part of the reason the belts keep slipping because the crank pully turns easier?

Damn. On my Kami exhaust manifold, the nuts that would hold the 2 pieces together kept getting lose. I actually drove around for a while when I found that one was missing, lol. So I went to ACE, bought new nuts and used locktite this time Has not fallen off yet...

As for fitment of the Kami manifold, I have the ITR version for my Si (EM1) and it fits good. Now I need an S2K donut at the header/test pipe.

On another note, I dynoed my car on a dynojet dyno yesterday. 307whp, 197wtq on run one and on run two 303.8whp and 207wtq. We let the car rest for 15 minutes prior to run two.

I'm very happy with the results Already thinking about upping the nitrous a bit more

Yeah i have slicks for it too. I normally run them unless there are alot of car at the track that night, cause they bump me up to a higher class.

You shouldnt lose a belt from downshifting, check your belt alignment, and tension. Shim your alternator bracket if neccesary.

I re-tightened my belts whenever I would see boost drop sightly( depends on boost, and how often/hard you drive).

Your flywheel has nothing to do with crank speeds, so thats not your problem.

Bunch of questions.

What exactly was your setup? How big a shot did you use. What were your 1/4 mile times with and without nitrous. What type of gas were you running in both?
As I recall you ran with an without a ported blower. What changes did you notice between the two setups? I've never run a non-moded blower.

I've been running pump gas (94 Ethanol Blend). After seeing a turbo car pick up 6/10th on race gas (no changes to thier maps) I think I may try it next year.

Thanks.

10-10.5 CR

You'll make more hp with a higher CR, but it becomes more difficult to tune. ie very small tuning window.

i was thinking of getting forge pistons with same compression as GSR...

My setup is 10.13:1.

I was shooting for 10.5:1, but settled with 10.13:1.

I think the same compressioin as a GSR is pretty good. That is basically what I am running.

I was running 9:1 cr @ 14.8 psi w/modded blower. 303whp and 250wtq, no n2o!!

afr's were 11.6-11.8 across the board with conservative timing, using 93 octane.

My quarter mile times were 12.5's w/ and without nitrous. my trap speeds went up a few mile an hour, but the car wasnt that consistent using that setup w/ n2o.(hence the turbo )

I never dynoed the car with 14 psi on a non- modded blower, just street tuned it. I never got to run it @14 psi w/ non- modded blower, but it pulled very hard, almost as hard as the endyn mod.( now that I look back on it, $1,400 was a lot for the mod )

I'm getting ready to switch to 100 octane Sunoco

That looks like a solid piston/rod combo. I dont have any experience with scat rods(Eagle here), but for the price, as long as you trust the seller, i'd give it a shot

What exactly does the stepper pulley do, and is there one for a d-series? I currently have a larger crank pulley and get 8psi. What can I do for more boost?
Also does anyone have a tensioner pulley for sale?

so mvm nor endyne make a stepper pulley to up the boost on the d? how are you supposed to get more boost out of the m45? I allready own the JR 8psi crank pulley, so where can I get a pulley for closer to 10-11psi?

On the Ds, its either the bigger crank pulley (Y7s and Y8s are the biggest) or its a smaller blower pulley. Stock for the D series kits is 3.8". Jackson will sell you a 3.4", and Endyn have a 3" (I think they have a 3.4" as well).

I have one of each of the 3 blower snout pulleys as well as an A6 (6" but only 3 rib), Z6 (6.25") and Y8 (6.5") crank pulley. I'm currently using the Z6 with the 3.4" snout pulley, but will likely be changing to either the Z6 and 3.8" or the Y8 and 3.8". I'm getting too much boost right now.

Any idea what your 60fts were? Drag radials?

Thanks for the info.
