Default "PIC" Resistor wireing...did I do it wrong

ok, I read the FAQ sectoin on this, the thread in Honda-tech
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=441107 , and it just confused me becuase about ten different people said something different. I wired mine like the pic below

I connected the 4 wires FROMthe injectors to the 4 black wire to the resistor box, then the 4 remaning wires that i cut off the clip all into the red wire. My car starts, and drives fine, but it's running too rich, almost like it's staying in open loop flooding my engine at cruise. I can't find out my problem, so I'm rechecking EVERYTHING I did. Was I suppost to connect all of the 4 remaining wires into the red, or just one of them and tape off the remainging three? I have a 93 civic EX if that helps

What injectors are you using? I'm assuming you got larger than stock ones, in that case, what are you using the control them as of course its dumping in more fuel over stock. Afc, hondata etc? I would also not go by the pic, but use a continuity tester to ensure you are using the right wires.

Do you need a resistor box for your car? Did you use your safc to adjust for the new injectors? I have never used that before, but you have to change the fuel settings to compensate for the larger injectors at idle.

yes, I used a resistor box, and I'm using my safc to adjust for the bigger injectors.
