No. Try your property settings in Windows. Run as Administrator, XP compatibility.

If you do download it and try to open it. You'll have to right click it and run as administrator for it to function properly.

Or you could just not threadshit. We get it. It's a better program but Crome is cheaper and works fine in the majority of cases.

The guy is asking a simple question about getting Crome to run in Windows. What's to say that he wouldn't have the same problem with the Neptune software?

Also, I was going to move to Neptune this summer but yesterday I found out that my Research Assistantship is only half pay this summer so I can't afford it. :-(

NepTune should work on every newer version of Windows. I've never once heard of a user unable to launch.

that depends on a few things. how serious of a build? do you want to tune it? and budget.

In my opinion eCtune.

I've only used Free Crome and Neptune. Upgrading from Crome to Neptune is awesome. But Neptune is pretty dang spendy

Tuning on crome is like playing baseball with a tree branch you found on the side of the road & your bare hands. It can be done, but wouldn't you much rather use a baseball bat & glove ?

Get the drift?
People spend money on their turbo setups, engine builds etc but they are hesitant to spend money on engine management. In the end they will eventually always switch from crome to Hondata, Neptune, Ectune, AEM ems etc.

I still use and like Crome Pro. I've never had any major problems like some people seem to have. (knocks on wood) However, I prefer to use eCtune.

I can't afford Neptune because I have to buy the Demon and I'm to the point where I am counting dollars and cents. However, I was poking around on the eCtune website and I think I may try it out.

The thing about Crome is that it's a pretty good program but there are a few issues with it that are pretty fundamental from what I understand. I'm new enough that I couldn't tell you exactly what but the way it handles AFR sensors is kind of retarded.

I actually PM'd you asking what your budget was, but you never responded.
