What would cause injectors not to pulse
Hey, I got a strange issue with my car and computer going on.
I for the life of me am just about dont know what else to do here.
Here is the issue.
My injectors arent pulsing. They are just on. Im getting a 12volt signal constant from my injectors when the ign is on.
When the car was on, it ran very rich, and not good at all.
I had another computer which did a similar thing and to my grand amazement, when i left the ignition ON and was working on the hood to check some connections, the intake started pouring fuel all over the place.
The fuel pump was on and the injectors were wide open, all 4 of them. I got a constant 12 volts at the injecotrs.
I ripped the manifold apart and rebuilt it after removing all the fuel. I have another ecu and a different main relay. Same issue as before.
All 4 injector wires run directly to the ecu with no breaks in the line, and straight to the resistor box.
What do you think the issue could be. h22 obd1 prelude

Bump
Looking for help here. Im hopeing that someone tells me its normal for the injectors to send out a constant 12 volt signal when the engine is just at the on postion but I really dont think so.

What injectors are we talking about here? stock or aftermarket? Did those injectors ever work or is this the 1st time using them?

Re: What would cause injectors not to pulse
the injector have 12v constant, the ecu then controls the ground (pulses) to the injectors.
12v constant on the injector is normal.
Its the ground you have to check, if its pouring out then probobly the ground wire is permanently grounded, like rubbing against chassi or short in the ecu.

I will check that out on Monday and see how it goes, hopefully it will pulse while I crank it. I just wanted to make sure that it is a normal thing before I went any further into investigating why my car wont start.
Thanks
