Default VTEC pressure switch

Just recently my CEL came on and immediately following I noticed a lack of power in my car. I checked the code and it came out as code 22 or the VTEC pressure switch, should i just replace the switch or are there other steps I should take before replacing? any advice appreciated. thanks.

I'd suggest unbolting the solenoid body from the head and checking the filter/screen to make sure it isn't blocked. Also, check your oil level and OIL PRESSURE. Lastly, check the wiring from the switch to ground on the thermostat housing, and from the switch to the ECU (Pin D6 for OBD1)
