Default Vtec not engaging ( ectune)

I just got my motor back from being rebuilt by my tuner. Im running the same map as the last dyno session when the hg blew. I was getting a check engine light every time when vtec would try to engage. Now its running just fine just no vtec. I check the wires and they r fine. Is there any other ways to test so I can figure out the problem.....

Simply check for voltage on the solenoid wire using a volt meter when the car is supposed to be in vtec. If you are seeing 12 volts but don't have vtec then the problem is mechanical...

I out 12 volts to it and it clicks like its suppose too. I check for continuity from the ecu pin to the sol and its good. I know its not in the tune. I took the sol off and cleaned it and put a new gasket/filter on it. I ran a wire off the the vtec sol right beside the sol into the car and its getting 12v... IDK what else it could be....

Try another ECU, perhaps the Vtec solenoid driver or transistor is dead
