Default Virtual Com Ports? for datalogging etc

Hi, question I'm having is, how can I set up my devices to use COM ports? I got a laptop without serial ports and in Device Manager there is no section Ports(COM & LPT)... how can I setup my laptop to show there usb devices as com ports? Help realy needed

If you have your device plugged in, you've installed the drivers, and the device supports virtual com ports it would show up.

If not, well, one of the above does not apply.
