Default Unplugging VAFCII

I have my H22 eg hatch hooked up to a p13 with a VAFCII. My question is will my VAFCII have the memory erased if I disconnect it from my ECU? I'm pulling my dash out tomorrow to replace my heater core and I might need to unplug it but I don't want to lose my settings on my VAFCII.
