Default unleaded gasoline vs E85!!!!

which is better?
is it good to mix unleaded gasolinewith e85 fuel?

Just keep in mind E85 during the winter in most states turns to E60.

also, you can mix gasoline with e85 but that doesn't really make much sense considering that e85 is already a mix of 85 percent ethanol, 15 percent petrol by volume

I think everyone needs to look at this article involving E85. It's not about the RON rating of the Octane (110), but there are drawbacks in BTUs. Take a gander, as this was a BG Lab Manager's opinion on the fuel. It is of course usable but may have some LONG term affects that are not readily seen now. BG is a gas additive company (i.e. BG 44K carbon cleaners, etc) This article may be made into a "sticky".

good read on E85 and E10 fuels, good thing i run premium in everything which supposedly doesnt contain ethanol

e85 winter blends shouldnt go lower than e70 i believe. if your worried about a bad mix, rockett brand makes straight e85. e85 is a good cheap race gas.
