Max I’ve seen at wide open is 7 psi 3rd/4th I can take a video of what it does when I do that if that’s helpful

 

Build some pressure testing caps and pressure test from turbo intake to manifold. Really seems like a boost leak. Put 20psi in the system and see if it holds or find where it leaks. Could be a torn boot or loose clamp that opens up with pressure.

 

I’ll try that when I get home.

do you think my blow off valve could be popping open? just trying to brainstorm

 

I had thought about that but the manifold pressure on top of the piston should hold it shut. Unless it has a problem?

 

I pulled it off and check and it seemed fine. The seal looks good still too. Do you think I can put a spring in there from the wastegate to make it heavier?

 

But then it won't open when the manifold goes to vacuum.

You do have the blow off valve connected to the manifold right?

 

Was it the blow off valve line?
