I dont know anything about circuit panels but I opened up the ECU and found (in the center of the picture) that black burnt up area. I am pretty sure that isnt suppose to be there. I dont know why I didnt think about doing this before but my son just asked me if I had opened it up just to take a peek. In anyones opinion would this be even worth trying to find someone to repair this.

 

That's some pretty extensive damage. Part of my job and hobby is repairing ecu's, and I can tell you that it could possibly be repaired, but it'd be cheaper (and way easier) to just get a new ecu.

 

Hey thanks motoxxxman, I appreciate all the help. Nice to have the car up and running proper. I think I will just junk this one and get another in the future just to have on hand. Thanks again for eveyones input.
