I have a vitara/eagle built d16y7 on a z6 head.

I fired it up with stock exhaust mani with o2 sensor in to see how she runs. Running RC550cc injectors, trying to make it run smooth with the s300 and NO turbo. Everytime i TOUCH the gas pedal it wants to die out on me. Iv'e played with the fuel but have no idea. I just want to make it run right, then ill put my turbo on. It is also running right off the throttle body, no filter. S300 D16Z6 basemap (P28)

 

put the turbo on and get it tuned.....

 

I get it tuned september 23rd. I just wanted to be able to drive it to and from work(all highway) and keep it out of boost as much as possible.

 

Contact who ever you bought the s300 from for a basemap calibration.
We provide all of our customers with a free basemap pre-uploaded to the unit specifically for their setup.

Another option is for you to install stock injectors, map sensor & run a stock p28 basemap.

 

this was happening to me aswell when i was on chrome untuned with my itr it would bogg off on me and have similar problems as you .. and alot of it was becuase of Exhaust restriction & not being tuned, i would highly recomend a nice exhaust set up and of course a tune

 

u got a wideband on that thing?
