Default s300 and fan control

i have noticed ever since i had my car tuned, that my cooling fan runs constantly. i have searched all through the s300 and can not find anything for fan control options. is this something built right in to the hondata and not changeable or do i have something else going on.

it has not really effected the car in any way. car runs damn near flawless. just thoughtitsould only be on when temps go up.

Look under "Parameters", "Protection" Radiator Fan, you are using V1.4.1 (11 March 2009)?

Yep. It is definitely under the protections tab under parameters.

Most likely you have a short in the wiring so it is always in the closed position.

alright did some more checking over and i have narrowed it down to a problem in tbe pcm. with the ect switch wire disconnected from the pcm the fan operates normally. im not sure which part of the pcm circuit board this runs the fan.i didnt see any burn marks on the board anywhere. any thoughts guys

also figured if i leave the wire disconnected then the s300 control for the fan would be inoperable.

I have your fan turning on constant with the tune. Go under nitrous #1 parameters, under "function" set to disabled. Go to protection and set the minimum operating temp for the radiator fan output. The software did not have a rad fan override feature when I tuned it, so that was the only choice to make it come on sooner than stock. Should have just emailed me, I could have saved you a bunch of hassle.
