Default s300 data log problems

I have data loged on s300 many times before, never ran into this issue I am having.

set up
01 GSR basic turbo set up
S300 V1
hondata CPR.

I am having two issues I cant figure out.

First one deals with internal data logs.
- this issue is not consistent only happens sometimes only came up this last week after having this particular s300 for about a year.

I have the parameters set to internally data log at something like over 4400 RPM and over 65/ throttle

well say I make a pass and nothing no log is present when I click on the "datalog recordings from ecu" button.

if I change parameters to always on sometimes it will record but all graphs will be blank and sometimes it will not even record. usually if I turn off and back on the car it will fix the issue.
this is coupled with a pop up that says error codes ( you know the pop up on the s300 display) sometimes it says 1 2 or 4. when I click to display error code it shows nothing.

any ideas with this one? like I said I had this s300 for about a year and no trouble out of it until now. only change I have made is that I am using by boost control feature.

second problem is my live data recording, I am using a high quality USB cord however it is not the one supplied with a hondata unit but it does have the ferrit bead cord around a apx. 2 inch section of the cord. question is that sometimes while doing a pass and attempting to live datalog it will show very erratic inaccurate recordings. I had issues with my cord before but it would usually just go dead until I got the new one with the ferrit around it.

both my issues seem to happen in conjuction with each other.

couple things i will add is that my motor is grounded very well and i have a rywire harness so all the connections are solid. and it was working fine after the installation of the harness. this is something new that just came up.

any way this could be from low vechicle battery? i say that because i had recently changed my alternator.

it will not let me upload the log but heres a photo so you all can see what im taking about i will email file and calibration to any one interested. thanks

I have never seen such an issue.
You are running resistor style spark plugs correct?

Any datalogging issues I've run into have been caused by non resistor type spark plugs.

Thanks for the replys guys
I guess I will resort to the hondata help forum.

Using
Brk8eix ngk

Befor this I had issues with my CPR as well I'm wound wrong if I bought an older cpr that isn't properly shielded from emi. It has the ferrite core but I've heard the early cpr had problems.
No way my ecu malfunction?

I have a car here that worked flawlessly for months with a new s300v2 and all of a sudden after cyl head swap it doesn't even recognize the ecu or accept uploads without unplugging and reconnecting the cable.. And that doesn't even work everytime.

Data logs... Forget it.... That stopped working too. It's been raining a lot here in fla and something tells me it's a water/wiring issue... Ecu plugs had a very small amount of moisture in the connectors... Dried it and nogo still...

I'll keep my eyes peeled on this thread... Chasing down the wiring daemon this week.... But it worked fine before... Smh
