quick tuning question
I have a Integra Type-r, with header, intake, exhaust, test pipe and super AFC. Im trying to get my air fuels in a range that is safe for 90 octane and at the same time build a little power with my few mods. This is a street tune, my air fuels are at 13.0s between 3000 and 5800 rpm, when it kicks into V-tec it hits 14.0 really quick, then starts richning out to 12.0s through the powerband all the way to 8500 rpms. Right now with my Super AFC I have ,it is at 13.4 AFR from 3000 to 8500 rpm. I know I need to got to a Dyno to see what my car likes but lean is mean, lol, but the nearest one is 3 hours away. do you guy and girls think that it could help just a little, to gain alittle power.
so you have the one that cannot alter vtec engagement?
You honestly dont need a dyno with that unless you just want to see how much power the engine makes. The difference in HP from 13.1 - 13.5 is not going to fit the cost of dyno rental and the gas to drive there and back.
If you had something to control the ignition timing then i could see the point for going to the dyno.
