Pocket Programmer 2 Settings
It's been a while since we've used this software... but I believe our settings are incorrect. We are programming a V4 Hondata S200 .bin file to the SST 27SF512 chip.
Could someone please verify the PP2 settings for the SST 27SF512 chip?
Device Start = ?
Device End = ?
If I'm forgetting any other preset values please let me know. Every time we program the chip it throws the CEL. However, I'm able to program the Atmel AT29C chip with no problems.
And of course, below is the 'how to' for the 27sf512 that we have been following to program:
Check the chip type is set to 27SF512
Parallel port (non-USB) Pocket Programmer only:
Click on ‘Vpp 12V’
Press ‘T’
Click on ‘Port Delay’ and enter 120
Click on ‘Quit Test’
Use ‘Erase device’. This must be done every time the 27SF512 is programmed.
Click on ‘Buffer Start’ and enter 8000
Use ‘Load Buffer’ to load the ROM image.
Click on ‘Buffer Start’ and enter 0
Use ‘Program Device’ to program the EEPROM.
Use ‘Verify Device’ to verify the EEPROM.

Thanks for the settings... but for some reason it still is not burning the 32k 27SF512 chip properly. I have contacted xtronics but have heard nothing back yet.
The AT29C256 chip is not burning properly either. The AF curves change as well as the rev limit. I'm just going to buy the Moates burner2.
