Default P30 Chip

Ok im really lost, there are so many options to tuning.

Im doing a jdm b16a 2nd gen swap in my 93 integra. Im going to be running on a p30 ecu. But its highly recommended to get it chipped. Im not sure what exactly i want to do or what i should do so any recommendations please tell me.

Chip Options:

*Set rev-limiter. Im thinking 9200rpm

*Set the v-tec point. im thinking 5000rpm

*Add 2-Step. im thinking. 4000rpm

*Disable knock sensor. not sure if i should?

*Disable o2 sensor. not sure if i should?

*Disable IACV. not sure if i should?

*Disable speed check. YES

*No Govenor. No idea if i should.

You can run the stock p30 without an issue on a stock b16 engine...

Why don't you consult with who ever you are having chip your ecu? :-)

The stock revlimit is at 8300 rpms. You will not make positive power with a stock b16 above 8500 rpms. Set the revlimit at 8500 rpms.

Vtec: Stock is 5875, I wouldn't set it any earlier then 5600 rpms as you will simply create a dip in your powerband.

Knock sensor, it's not needed.

IACV, leave it enabled
Speed gov, remove
O2 sensor, disable if your o2 is bad

just what i was looking for.
But one thing, you said i wont see any power gain past 8500 rpm. But the higher the rpm the more fuel and air, and that all goes to the gearing, so technically wont i be seeing a power gain? and eventually im going to build this motor, it will be put in with bolt ons btw, cai and a header.

i was told they ran better chipped and did better with aftermarket parts, even internally.

The engine doesn't make positive power past 8500 rpms on stock cams, there is no point in reving the motor up there...

A chipped ecu would yield more power over a stock ecu if you had bolt ons such as intake/header/exhaust.

A base map created by someone sitting behind a computer won't always give you the max gains. If you want to get the most out of your engine and chipped ECU. You need to go to a tuner and have it tuned properly.

Yeah i understand that^ unfortunently i dont have the funds for that right now. I only have enough to get the swap in with a low budget chip.

Btw i messaged the guy, he said they are out of p30 ecu's but a p28 would work just as well because im getting it chipped. Should i wait to get a p30 or is a p28 good?
