Default ostrich 2.0 and solid cel

man i miss the days of burning a chip and never having any freaking problems...

went to the track last sunday my car threw a solid cel so i borrowed a friends computer to get home tried everything to fix it to no avail,

reset ostrich firmware, reset serial to ectune uploaded the map still solid cel, ordered a new ribbon cable thought maybe that was the culprit, get it in today and still solid cel..

tried another computer that i know works, and btw mine works with a chip no problem and still solid cel...

reset firmware from ectune so i can use crome and still a ****ing solid cel

wtf is wrong with my stupid ****ing ostrich im about to throw this **** through the ****ing window and put a chip in my **** and call it a day and not have ectune anyore

You should just get Hondata and be done with it.

Have you checked the battery in the ostrich? They don't usually die but you never know.

If you are going to go to a new platform I would suggest the Ostrich trade in program with Neptune.... Hondata is very overpriced and very overrated!

when i unplug ostrich from my laptop then plug it in the map is still there and i dont know how to remove the battery i dont want to open it up and void any warranties...

and i will never buy hondata, not only for it being over price, but for the fact that they tried suing dave blundell for another user posting something of theirs on pgmfi.org so ya

i am using ectune now, i like it alot, but i kind of want to go to neptune alot more support, but either way, my ostrich will not work, with an ectune map or a crome map, i am going to contact xenocron because thats who i purchased it from and if they cant help me then im going to call moates

I like eCtune as well. I had some licensing issues and the lack of support from Calvin was a bit of a let down. However, I did finally get my issues sorted out and the software works as intended.

I would go directly to the guys down @ Moates. Graig is a great guy to deal with. The IC in my Ostrich got fubared, my fault of course, so I chatted with him about it and he helped me out right away.

Lots of good luck! Except for the fact that you don't trust their customer service to properly diagnose and fix the USB port on your Hondata ECU!
