Most likely your bearing or pump clearances are much too wide due to wear. Either way this is the Engine Management Section - as in using a laptop to tune the vehicle... and not your normal tech section. You should have posted in the 92-00 Civic section.

When bearing clearances are too loose from wear, oil is essentially pouring out to be dramatic. The loss of this restriction from proper clearances will result in loss of pressure and will be more noticed at idle when the volume isn't there from the pump. I don't know how to put it any more basic than that.

aka: your engine needs to be rebuilt. the bearings and/or oil pump are worn out beyond spec. continuing to drive the car as it sits right now will soon lead to catastrophic failure.

Make sure you have enough oil in the engine first... Check the dipstick.

Oil pressure switches don't typically fail intermittently. They usually stick open or closed. It is just a switch after all. Other than that have you even read what you are being told? I think you are beyond help.
