Default obd1 conversion

im just bout done putting together my turbo kit. (just waiting on a U bend to be delivered)

the next thing im thinkin bout about is my obd1 conversion for tune.

my car is a 99 civic cx hatchback.
stock motor stock intake manifold.

i was told some tuning programs have a program to disable my iacv.

would i be able to unplug my iacv and get it tuned by crome or something that disables iacv?

would i have a rough/pulsing idle?

im not worried about cold starts, i just wanna be able to get it tuned, and keep it easy enough to switch back to obd2 for emissions

You can disable the IACV error code in pretty much every software available.

if i unplug the iacv and use a obd2b > obd1 harness, would it be ok to tune? as in not using a IACV at all.

im not worried about cold starts..just wana get it tuned and keep it simple enough to switch back to obd2b for emissions

Yes, you can tune a vehicle to run without the IACV.
