my ecu flashes about 9 times does anybody kno why????????

It is the cylinder position sensor code... It is a sensor in the dizzy.

Recently happened to me. Check to make sure you don't have any loose connections in or around that area where the Cylinder Position Sensor is located (inside distributor.)

Otherwise you can check for continuity on the distributor plug terminals/connectors.

Last resort is to replace the distributor with a brand new one which can usually the best way to go. Good luck.
