Hey guys,
Just a quick question about the NGK Powerdex. Can you wire it to the stock ecu and use it with Ectune or any other software like you can with the LM1 or PLX ?
Thank guys

Not a stock ECU. The NGK has a 0-5v output, therefore, your ECU has to be modified to read a clean 0-5v input signal. I have modified a few OBD1 ECUs to run the NGK Wideband with eCtune. There are a couple different pins/circuits that you can easily modify to have them allow for a 0-5v signal.
ELD works, there are a couple that you can convert to run 5v
What do you consider long? It really depends on your comfort level with electronics and taking apart your interior. The last one I hooked up took me the morning (3-4hrs) from start to finish, permanent install, no wires hanging loose. That's also including modifying the ECU. If it's your first time and your interior is intact, you could be looking at up to a full day. Again it depends on your level of mechanical/electrical know-how.
