New to tuning
As title says I’m new to tuning, and running in to some issues. I understand the basics of tuning fuel and ignition maps, however I am having some problems adjusting AFRs in HTS. B20b with CAI/H/E on a ITR tune. At the moment I have a few cells where my AFR is perfect, but most the rest are either overly rich or overly lean and adjusting them has proved to be a PITA. When adjusting in HTS using CTRL+J the cells either lean out the point of not running/starting or they jump to extremely rich.
Make manual adjustments
It's like hockey...you don't pass the puck to where they are, you pass the puck to where they will be. Sometimes previous cells affect the data collected in subsequent cells. Depending on how fast things are happening and how slow it's actually logging, you need to adjust cells that lead up to those problem areas.
Auto tune is garbage. Data log by filling in rows/columns, then make an assessment and changes yourself.
