Default neptune/uego offset problem

so i'm running neptune/demon/p28 and datalogging the AEM uego through D14 (o2 input). neptune has the uego as a preset wideband so no voltage scalar is input manually.

the problem is say my aem gauge reads 14.7 neptune is showing 15.7 so i put a 1 in the offset tab, gauge and neptune both show 14.7, but the richer you get (as i get into boost) the gauge will show 11.8 while neptune shows 13.5, so i change the offset to something like 2.5 and its great at richer AFRs now but WAY off near stoich.

cant get the offset correct for the entire voltage range. i could deal with maybe a .5afr offset but its a good bit off.

should i manually enter the voltage scale in neptune and not use the aem uego presets? i would think a ground offset would be pretty constant through the voltage range so i'm stumped. this is the second wideband i'm having this problem with, my LC-1 also had this problem which is why i got the uego.

i should add that the aem uego ground is attached to a bolt right above the ECUs stock location.

thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, you may want to make a custom scale. Or you can use the ELD input and remove R136 and R138 to get rid of any voltage skew.

ok, i'll move to ELD on friday and check to see if the resistors are already gone (previous owner of the ecu was using ELD for wideband input).

by custom scale do you mean not the AEM supplied voltage scale? no clue how to go about that, but i will try manually entering some of the voltage points instead of using the preset. i'll post back because if that works wouldnt it be a problem with the preset values?

I had a couple cars do that with the aem, What I did was set a custom scale with 0v-10 and 5v-20. I did this on 3 diff cars and they only needed a very small offset.

i tried the custom scale first, not really custom just not the preset neptune setting. input 0v = 10AFR 5v = 20AFR, and its perfect now with no offset, still using D14.

thought i'd update this incase anyone needs the info in the future.
