Default Moates Hulog Install Question

I got the moates.net hulog datalogger the other day and have to small questions. My chipped ecu is running crome and the ecu came with a four pin header built in already. My first question is, how do i orient the plug, as of right now the black wire (the one on the outside is closer to the ecu chip). Or should i have to turn it around Second question is when im trying to configure the hulog to crome, moates instructions tell u to go to the plug in manager-enhancements- and undo the checksum. But when i go into the manager the enhancements area is not highlighted for me to choose. Did i forget to do something?

http://www.moates.net/documentation....entation_id=25

Make sure j12 is removed from your ecu.
Go to plugins, enhancements, click remove checksum routine.

Make sure you add quick datalogger + rtp and configure everything properly.
There is documentation on moates.net

i had purchased the ecu already chipped from phearable.net and it came with a white header built already, so i guess i wouldnt need to us the supplied headers from moates like in the pic, i should just plug the wire in like so in the pic. But i wondering if the orientation of the plug onto the header is correct. Ive seen two examples of the outer black wire being faced in two different directions.

ok i removed j12 and have the hulog plugged in properly, but my new question is, that in order for my to datalogg on crome, i have to purchase the crome pro. I read this in the moates directions, but i just want to verify this if anyone has ever had to do this.

Or you can use Freelog to datalog.. and it is free.. hence the name.

It really isn't worth buying crome pro anymore.. it takes forever to get the reg string. There are better programs out there for only a little more money.
