Default moates 2timer what is the purpose?

while talking to the shop i asked if the engine can be tuned for more power and also to be more emission friendly on 2 eparate bin files. he said theres no difference if properly tuned it should make power and emissions should be ok as well.

so then what is the puspose of the 2 timer since it allows you to load 2 bin files on same chip and switch between them.

It's nice if you have a tune for pump gas, then one for race gas.

so what can it be used for on all motor engine.

i didnt think about turbo applications for different boost when i typed it up.

i was just thinking with pro2s i would at least attempt to tune it specifically for emissions and try to pass them. here in WA they are not that strict.

too bad the moates chip doesnt allow individual gear tuning

What are you getting it tuned on? If you want to be able to switch between tunes just get S300 or something similar like Neptune.

Crome. neptune and hondata is kinda out of my budget. I had the ecu chipped for about 4 years now with datalogging.
I was mostly hoping i could tune it for better fuel economy for my every day driving. And another program for better power.

If you want a low boost and high boost tune...or if you need to switch to a program for NOS...or a street bin and a track bin....there is a bunch of reasons. On high compression motors you can use it for one tune on 91 octane and another for 100 octane+ like i do. Crome is perfect to use with the 2 timer.
