Default Maximum MAP for closed loop

I am looking through settings and am trying to decide how to adjust the maximum MAP for closed loop.

I mainly use Hondata RE4 and SManager, so I will use this as an example.
Every basemap I have checked so far shows a negative number, such as -5.3 psi for maximum MAP.

What are suitable settings for NA, and boosted apps?

Also, I don't know how to tell the difference between vac and boost by mbar. Is vac always a negative mbar or psi? If so, why are the default settings set at -5.3 psi if that is a lot of vac, and they still leave closed loop enabled?

Please help

Just leave it where it is, that is where it should be for both NA and boosted cars. You only want closed loop in the 14.7:1 a/f ranges no further.

mbar will always be positive. That is simply millibars of pressure.

mbar based on vacuum goes from ~100 to ~1000
positive pressure starts after 1000 depending on how the map is setup.

most of the programs i have seen have already got the closed/open loop threshold set pretty well. you can fine tune it if you'd like, but i dont really see the need.

you can change units to whatever you would like by going to options -> settings -> units
