Default LS-V idle problem

okay so i just got done building an ls-vtec motor and im having an idle problem.. i got down to thinking the injectors are too big or i just need to get it tuned... but the car is running really rich. this is how i know why its running really rich... i turn the car on and it stays on for like 10 seconds then dies... so what i did was take the injector sensor off and cranked the motor and it turned on for like 3seconds.. WTF??
so what can i do to fix this?? smaller injectors or a tune? the injectors i have are 370cc..

What ecu are you running? Is it even programmed for your setup?

Who burned you your basemap? With the correct basemap a car should idle with no problem.

Pherable.net or however you spell the name.. that's what I thought too that with a basemap it should run with no problem.. so idk if they sent me a wrong map or idk.. but do you think those injectors are big from what I said its doing?? Or maybe the Pw is set to high..

no basemap is going to run perfect. you likely have an injector offset issue at the least, among other glitches. try datalogging with the stock O2, adjust the offset until you get your idle AFR to 14.7:1. If anything he probably put you on a P30 base, which never runs well on LSV without a tune. You could try adjusting the temp scales to match whatever Vtec head you're using, and hike up the timing a little.
