Default low idle and dies. 94 hatch

ok so I’m having and idle issue. first this is I've done my own trouble shooting first before resorting to the forums online DIY ftw until you fail. any ways so I have a d16z6 with a y8 mani. I had it in a coupe first and it was idling around 0-1000 sometimes steady at 500ish and sometimes it will just cut and die. so I’ve raised the idle on it to keep from dying on me it idles sometimes at 2k 1500 and 1k and sometimes little lower. so while I’m driving and shift the rpms will drop to fast and below 800. I’ve tried replacing IACV, TPS, MAP and none have fixed the issue any advice would be great thank you.

Yes it is. Its reading as 10 ICT which the y8 doesn't have but it was doing the same thing in the coupe which had a different harness. So that rules out wiring and also most vacuum leaks. But I did some research and some say you need the TB off the z6 not sure if true tho.I found a full z6 intake on Craigslist so I'll try just putting that on on. I'll let you know if that'l fixes the issue.I'm just trying to get this motor running cause my friend has a jdm b16 an he wants my motor. So yea trying everything to get this fixed asap

So spoke with a few shops an all said it shouldn't be caused by theintake Mani so back too square one. What about dizzy or icm?

You need to resolve all codes then proceed from there.
A code 10 for intake air temp will cause the ecu to make the engine run rich.

Where would I hook up the intake air sensor on the y8 then?

The 96+ civics had the intake air temp inside of the intake air tube.
For now, you can simply plug the iat sensor from a d16z6 into the iat plug which is usually red & green wires... Zip tie it to the engine harness.

Eventually you can convert to a 96+ style iat sensor in the intake tube...

Now that is fixed I'm not running rich any more an I was reading I could just tap a hole into the intake pipe and put the IAT sensor there

So fyi fix all the issues the dumb a** who installed the y8 Mani used a ls tb so I put on the z6 tb and the Mani gasket for a z6. Fixed all issues.
