Icon2 LC1 Wideband Error code 2

My wideband sensor went out on me a few months ago. I just finally got time to replace it with a new one but I keep getting error code 2. The old sensor wires got damaged when I had to turn my test pipe so that my exhaust would clear the ground. I'm not sure if the damage of those wires caused any shortages in the lc1 unit itself or not.

I followed the instructions per Innovate. But it's not helping much.

Error 2 Heater circuit open 1. Damaged sensor cable or
Cable connector not fully
seated
1. Verify Sensor connector is
fully seated into unit.
Repair/replace Sensor or
cable.

This is a brand new sensor and it is sitting as flush as it can inside the unit.

Any help is appreciated.

Probably happened like you say, especially if trying with a new sensor

Is there anyway to test if the unit itself is bad?
