Integra 92 xsi injector & ecu problem
so i have my 92 integra, not a real xsi but everything converted to xsi so its a ls or a gs its full equipped.
anyways, i've been getting a check engine light and running 3 cylinders in the past 2 days, so i checked everything i got no power coming to my cylinder number 4. ok ITS WEIRD cuz its a b16a running a p72 gsr chipped computer, vtec kicks at 4500 it sucks but anyways just telling the ecu model, and its obd1 btw. so i found the ecu pinouts and i found thats A2 yellow was Injector Number 4. hooked up my voltmeter while car is running on the A2 wire, nothing ... i hook up positive negative from the injector beside, and number 4 works. i noticed some corosion on the pins thats im gettnig problem with in the ecu. cleaned it with cutips and special solution made for that and still nada. So i'm thinking, my ecu was wet at sometime and shorted something. So should i try a obd1 b16a ecu ? and see if my check engine goes away and my injector works? cuz right on the A2 pin, there was corosion and stuff cleaned it and still nothing so, tell me what you think.
only ONE injector is not working cylinder number 4. i dont have stock injectors i dont know what brand or size they are yellow tip and chrome where it plugs in the motor.
oh and we also took the plug off ( the two wires that goes in the plug then in the injector ) tryed connection pos/neg right on the injector pins and didnt do nothing also, no power coming there.
**** I CANNOT FIND THE TWO WIRES THAT YOU SHORT TOGETHER TO GET THE CHECK ENGINE CODE **** theres no green plug with two wires n stuff i checked everywhere.
thanks
frank
