Default Injector choices

just starting the honda game, and i need some help picking out fuel injectors

i have a turbo b20, with an integra b18 manifold, running megasquirt. I am looking for a high impedance injectors around 600cc. Every option i am seeing seams like it cost 300$ for a set of 4, which is about double what i am used to paying coming from the world of EV1 injectors. Are honda injectors just naturally more money than Ev1 frame injectors? or am i looking in the wrong places

Are there any cost effective options that will fit between the fuel rail and intake manifold without too much fabrication?

EV1 style are Stone Age. No one this century should still be using them IMO. You should be looking at the EV14 range. Contact user HiProfile here, he can educate you a bit further and offers execellent pricing... You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Older low impedance injectors have gone by the wayside for most applications as the development and technology has shifted to newer high impedance injector designs from OE manufacturers.

There can be a very big difference in injector performance when comparing different injectors, and also when comparing how well they were matched and the data that is provided with them. All of these elements are crucial to having a car that tunes well and runs properly at the end of the day.

You can click here: FIC 1650 HighZ to watch a video about our data acquisition and matching process, and why it is so important.

If you have any other questions just post here or call me directly at (561) 427-0082 and I'll be happy to help!

Is that an injector off of a b20z? They are an oddball of Hondas from that era. Pretty sure they are the typical 240cc, but they won't work off of the stock manifold and rail.

Assuming that is a P75/LS manifold and a typical aftermarket rail, you just need whatever your chosen company's standard civic/Integra fitment is. For some that will be an injector of the correct length. For others, it will be a shorter body with a set of "top hats" to make up the extra length.

I just responded to Mike via email but wanted to follow up here as well in case it helps anyone else in the future.

"I think we found your issue… the injector pictures you sent are for an S2000, not a B-Series. There is a height difference there (47mm vs 55mm, center of upper seal to center of bottom seal) which is creating the issue for you. Please see the attached image to show the difference."

Thanks for that pic Bryan. Those are also the same style that came on the b20z, which I suspect is where the OP got them from since he is running a B20:

Note the completely different method of fuel rail mounting compared to the LS manifold pictured in his previous post.

Thanks for adding that, I did see your last response before posting, seems that the B20z must fall under the AP1 S2K injector fitment instead of the standard B/D/H injector fitment that we commonly see (excluding D17).

im not sure what designation the b20 is, (since im new to hondas) however i do know it was from a JDM 99-00 CRV, and is a high compression motor. I am happy to know i just need to order a new set of injetors (needed anyways) i just didn't want to order the wrong part

Thanks for the help honda-tech! As a teaser of things to come, this is what the honda motor is powering right now
