I just bought a CRX with a h22 and a hondata s300. I know nothing when it comes to tuning and I have done research but have came up empty handed.
I am wantng to set the car up for drag and I want to be able to use the launch control. Any help with this would be awesome. Plus, if any of you tuning genius' have any other tips that would rock.

Well as far as setting it up with the S300.. there is a help button on the menu bar. If you go into the help and type in launch control it will tell you exactly what each box in the launch control section does.

It is in the parameters tab at the top. So I would suggest just downloading Smanager from Hondata's website and start messing around with a calibration. Get use to the layout. Once you feel confident then start tuning it.

The worst thing you could do if you are starting out is plugging it in right away and start messing with stuff. Try to learn the software a bit first so you have an idea of what is going on.

As far as searching to learn how to tune, you really didn't try hard enough. There is a FAQ thread stickied at the top of this forum that has answers to just about every question you could come up with for general tuning.

Another good site is msefi.com (mega-squirt forum). It has a lot of technical data when it comes to sensors, etc.

 

Nah man your good. I should have read the forum like it says.
The car doesn't have a clutch switch to activate the launch control so I think I have to buy ne from somewhere... I have also heard that I don't need one and can turn it on without one.
The guy I bought the car from has left me high and dry...sorta. He had a shop install the ecu and didn't feel me in on it.
The wiring from the engine to the ecu looks like a bowl of spaghetti. I contacted rywire and they said I would have to buy a chipped ecu for their engine harness to work. Oh well. The car runs now so I'm going to leave it as is.
