Default Hondata S100 problem...

So, I have a P72 tuned on Hondata S100. Built GSR motor. It was tuned years ago and never had a CEL.
Recently I've been getting a random CEL at idle after I've been driving for a bit.
Doesn't seem to change the engines behavior when it's on and it clears after I turn the car off.

So I went to jump the code but it doesn't work. Did a little research and apparently, because I was tuned using an older version of the software, I can't pull my codes!!!

Question, can I just buy a base-map chip from Phearable, swap that with my S100 chip and be able to pull the code that way?
Or does it not work like that??

Please, any help is appreciated.

That is correct.

The other solution is to mail in your chip in and have the .bin file pulled from it & updated to the latest version of romeditor v4.
