Can Somebody tell me which honda vtec engine is this? I'm buying a Honda DelSol and the owner is claiming that this is 1600cc engine with 135 bhp, he did replace it, the only thing is .. I can't identify it :S i think it's a D Series engine...

its a d16, no way 130hp, i have that same motor in my civic stock is like 98hp and is like 1550cc the dohc is 1555cc.

 

looks like a d16z6, or maybe the jdb d15b vtec.
you have to check the block, like the pic above shows

 

let me guess you have the Si model delsol? stock d16z6 sohc vtec
