is the D15B a vtec engine?

Well I have a d15B engine but the valve cover just says HONDA i wanna know if the motor is a sohc vtec motor or not.

Check for a silenoid coming out of the back of the head with a GREEN plug on it.

thats the green plug to look for yes,
some importers charge 400-600 bucks for a d15b or zc's usually.

its not a vtec u can tell if its a vtec by the head cams..and the timing belt..and what exzacly is a cali c95gsr?

The D15B comes in both a vtec and non-vtec version. It looks like you have the VTEC solenoid. Also, spark plug holes on the front of the engine = VTEC. On the rear = non-VTEC.

i have 2 ej1's one with Z6 the other with D15b, they are nearly identical cept the Z6 has a lil bigger displacement. keep ur motor and do some work to it. its not worth the swap.
