The D15B comes in both a vtec and non-vtec version. It looks like you have the VTEC solenoid. Also, spark plug holes on the front of the engine = VTEC. On the rear = non-VTEC.

i have 2 ej1's one with Z6 the other with D15b, they are nearly identical cept the Z6 has a lil bigger displacement. keep ur motor and do some work to it. its not worth the swap.
