Help check engine light blinks

Default Help check engine light blinks

I have a 98 civic ex d16y8 changed dizzy new plugs new wires . Now it starts up and idles fine . It's when u drive it when u start in first gear it shakes and on take off if I put the pedal down it boggles then clears out then same thing with other gears . Check engine light blinks ?? Is it fuel injectors?

If it's automatic check your front transmission solenoid which is a tcu (transmission control unit. It's a silver or copper colored box under your passenger dash. That usually means your transmission is going into limp mode. It could also be that your car is in sport mode which u can turn on and off by the shifter.

There's no sport mode one a 98.

A flashing check engine light is typically an indicator for heavy misfire. It will flash during the events. Did it start this after you performed your tune-up?
