ok, so im getting ready for my tune and have a few questions. i have a very minor oil leak coming from my vtec silonoid(B18C1), will that affect my tune? my vtec works and is pretty loud around 4.5k rpm, but i dont feel the kick until 6k rpm. it may be because of my skunk2 manifold. but anyways, all my general tune up parts(spark plug wires, rotor bit, etc) are about a year old, will it be a good idea to change them out? or will it make much difference? also, if i reduced a little weight out of the car, will that make any difference? im sorry if my questions are kinda dumb, but its something for me to know. its my first tune. thanks
i have a B18C1
skunk2 tuner 1 cams
itr pistons
jdm itr headers
skunk2 manifold
injen cai
apexi ws2 exhaust
magnaflow high flow cat

Fix ALL Leaks...as a tuner I hate it when a car leaks all over my multi-thousand dollar equipment.
Do a COMPRESSION Test, before and AFTER your tune.
Do a LEAK DOWN Test, before and AFTER your tune.
Clean all of your sparking bits with Electrical Cleaner, remove any corrosion, rust etc...and check all of your dizzy connections and TIGHT and clean (no old corroded wires or check)

And if you check before and the motor isnt healthy, dont waste your money on tuning.
I compression test my motor every time I change the oil...
