Hello All,
I am running a FT450 and I'm trying to solve my idle control issue. My IACV is still plugged into my factory ECU, can it still control idle or do I need to wire it into the fuel tech? If so, what outputs on the FT would I use? Frequency control output? I only have gray outputs left. Any suggestion to get me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I got in touch with FuelTech and they said it would have to be a blue output. I will have to move my wastegate (blue output) to a gray wire to open up a blue output. See pics below.

What was the setting you used to get it to work. I have 2 pin IACV and settings are at 250 frequency and it's not moving . Did a battery test it moves.
The settings you have in your snips look like a reasonable starting point. Let the help file be your guide for tuning your ecu. Most ecu companies these days have really good documentation.
Think about it like this, the frequency is the number of times per second it will allow you to make a voltage pulse. The percentage value should be considered a duty cycle, the length of the voltage on-time per pulse. You may need to raise those %s up to get the valve to respond. A combination of duty cycle and frequency will cause the coil to hold the plunger in just the right place.
